Sound Proofing at Drifters

We would like to express our sincere thanks to Sound New South Wales for their generous support through the Sound Proofing Grant.

With this funding, we’ve been able to implement significant acoustic treatments, allowing us to continue showcasing incredible live music while being more considerate to our local community.

We’ve already seen the positive impact of these changes. One nearby resident recently shared:

“As a nearby resident, I used to hear live shows and music from the venue quite clearly. Over the past six months, there has been a significant improvement — to the point where I’ve at times assumed no events were taking place. This change has made a substantial difference to the quiet enjoyment of my home, and I appreciate whatever steps have been taken to reduce noise from the venue.”
